"Maria"

Maria was such a beautiful puppy that I wanted a special, beautiful name
for her. Thus she was named for Maria in "West Side Story".
She was a big girl - 15 1/2" and was too much for a lot of judges.
She was bored at the shows and thus was not a "super showman".
However, her gorgeous head and flowing side movement passed
down to her kids (as did her haughtiness). She was a super mother,
who adored her kids well into adulthood. Her special sweetness is
greatly missed.  11 years is such a short time.
